Luca Micheletto’s research is theoretically oriented and focuses on optimal taxation, public provision of private goods and fiscal federalism. His current research projects include the analysis of optimal age-dependent taxation, a comparative evaluation of the welfare properties of tagging and public provision schemes, and the analysis of the interaction between monetary and fiscal policy when the government pursues redistributive goals by optimally designing a nonlinear labor income tax. Luca received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Milan and has a B.A. in Economic and Social Disciplines from Bocconi University of Milan.
