Measuring the behavioral effects of tax changes

Uppsala, March 17-19, 2010 (Ph. D. course for PhD students and Post Docs)

On March 17-19 The Uppsala Center for Fiscal Studies will together with the Department of Economics, Uppsala University, arrange a Ph. D. course on "Measuring the behavioral effects of tax changes".
The lectures will be given by Professor Richard Blundell (University College London). There will be three main themes of the course:

(i) some background on the theory of tax design,
(ii) the specification and estimation of structural models of labour supply, of savings and of consumption,
(iii) the impact of earnings taxation, savings taxation and commodity taxation.
The organizing committee will finance three hotel nights in Uppsala.
